Inhuman, cruel, uncivilized?

This happened at Kampung Berembang on this morning when The Ampang Jaya Municipal Council went to tore down the only remaining structure in Kampung Berembang in Ampang. No any news in mainstream newspapers yet.
Chaos reigns in Kg Berembang Nov 30, 06 1:24pm

This morning, MPAJ, armed with four bulldozers, came in to finish the job and again they faced stiff resistence from the villagers.

Villagers who tried to block the demolition were shoved and pushed aside by the MPAJ enforcement officers, who numbered more than 100. Things took an ugly turn when the police and the FRU joined the fray to beat the villagers and their supporters who were gathered there.

Women and children inside the surau were also not spared.

Eye-witnesses said the enforcement officers reacted violently against children and women. One woman who had locked herself with a steel chain to the surau was forcibly removed.

When the dust settles, Kampung Berembang looked like a battle zone with villagers fallen to the ground, some crying in pain, some unconscious and some hurt after the beating.

It sounds like we have a group of “legal gangster” as our municipal enforcement officers. Yet, someone said Mat Rempit can help to the snatch thief problems, do you want them be your law enforcement officers?

Any action can be taken while this was matter in court? I have no idea, kindly please share some legal advice here to everyone. Please.

Micheal Backman, he wrote another article again

Part of his third article in his column and published in the Age was answered to our International Trade and Industry Minister's remark.
theStar: An article in an Australian newspaper The Age ridiculing Malaysia and calling Malaysia “bodoh” (stupid) has left International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Seri Rafidah Aziz unperturbed.

“What do we care? Obviously, this person doesn’t know Malaysia. He is an outsider and he can say what he likes. I don’t really care about what others say – as long as it is not a Malaysian saying it,” she said.

The Wanita Umno chief said the Australian writer had apparently not followed the Umno general assembly proceedings closely. “If he did, he would have seen things differently.”
In his third article, he mentioned
The issue exploded in Malaysia late last year and she was lucky to keep her job.

And then there are the corruption allegations. In 1995, in a report to the attorney-general, the public prosecutor said there was a prima facie basis for Rafidah's arrest and prosecution on five counts of corruption.

An opposition activist later acquired official documents that appeared to confirm this. He was jailed for two years under the Official Secrets Act simply for possessing them. Rafidah, on the other hand, was not even charged.

Rafidah added to her remarks about my column that no Malaysian should say such things. It's little wonder that she doesn't welcome scrutiny from her own people. But then the idea that Malaysians cannot comment publicly about how their country is run but a non-Malaysian can, is disgraceful.

Perhaps Rafidah needs to be reminded who pays her salary.

Well, why don't you go to read the article at here. His first article, here; second article, here. And then, feel free to drop few lines here.

Words deep inside the heart of Malaysians abroad

HE/SHE speaks words deep inside the heart of many Malaysians abroad. Will they listen to the truth words? Would they? Would they?
Let us not wait for the oil to run out
Very Worried Malaysian, London
Nov 29, 06 5:13pm

We kept saying that all the time, it's not Malaysia Boleh, it's Malaysia ‘bodoh’ as pointed out by Michael Backman who wrote While Malaysia fiddles, its opportunities are running dry.

His recent article in The Age slapped us hard in the face. It is rather embarrassing but I can't help agreeing with him that us lot tend to live in Dreamland. While there are more pressing matters of national concern looming, we are still fiddling with who owns what and how much. How silly can that be? Does it really matter that Ali gets a larger slice of the pie while Ah Chong and Muthu get a bit? When there is no pie at all, what will there be to argue about? Are we really that naive to be still stirring racial sentiments at political parties' general assemblies while our oil wells are running dry as we speak?

With Petronas literally feeding the country, we might be riding high right now. However, Malaysia's oil reserves will run out in 19 years time and we're already set to become a net oil importer by 2011 if nothing is done. Are we not worried at all? Are we adopting a ‘rilek la bang, lepak la dulu’ attitude? Why bother sending a Malaysian into space when the money can be put into better use, eg, research and development, education and rural development.

How about reducing crime rate? How about tackling corruption? How about stimulating the economy at the grassroots level? How about ensuring that Universiti Malaya and other Malaysian universities do not slip further down the world ranking? How about finding out why successful Malaysian overseas are not bothered to return? How about doing something to ensure the energy security of the country in the future, before our oil wells are sucked dry?

We, overseas Malaysian might not be home right now, but we are very worried. Heck, we are worried sick! It is for the love of the nation that we do not want to see the nation further sliding.

Do something, Pak Lah! You might be nice and yes, we like that, but our patience are running out. Test the rakyat's patience any further and we might snap. Delivering inspiring speeches at general assemblies is not enough. Empty promises are not enough. Remaining silent and letting your colleagues do the talking is not good at all.

Dr Mahathir has got his points and we are listening. That is what we do for a PM who contributed his entire life to the nation and brought us to where we are today. You, Pak Lah, would not want others to see your government as half-past-six, would you?

I use we because I am speaking as a Malaysian. Not as a Chinese Malaysian or anything else. I love my country as much as 26 million others do. Let us be genuinely boleh, and not ‘bodoh’.

Possible? or Foolish?

The chief of Putera Umno said mat rempit (illegal motorbike racer) can help to solve the snatch thief problems in Malaysia. I have my eyes opened. Possible? How? Like this?

If I'm not mistaken, mat rempit getting more and more aggressive now. They even challenged police and disturbed the Sultan of Pahang. Well, just because this?
3,800 mat rempit to join Umno, says Putera chief

Putera Umno claims it has roped in 3,800 mat rempit under 25 years of age to sign up as Umno members. Movement chief Datuk Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim said these young street racers were among 10,000 in the Klang Valley who were courted by the wing. Nationwide, the movement had wooed between 30,000 and 40,000 mat rempit, he told reporters at a gotong royong to spruce up a Muslim cemetery at Bukit Tandang here yesterday. “We will collect their particulars and absorb them as members. So far, 3,800 have filled up forms to join Umno,” he said.

I think he should read what had written in theStar citizen’s blog by baymolly
Face the facts Putera Umno.... when you are wrong just admit it..how about sending your Youth Chief and deputy stopping an ongoing race in the middle of the road ? Want to know the result of that ??
Can we focus on how to solve the problem rather than keep on saying something sounds really "shock" and not logic to public?

After gain the popularity from media, what next? Talk, talk, talk, talk......action and result(s)? We wait and see?

More MAT REMPIT in action, click at here......and you tell me how they can help to solve the snatch thief problem?

KUALA LUMPUR: Toll rates for five highways will go up on Jan 1 next year as the Government can no longer afford to subsidise toll increases, Works Minister Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu said Monday.

Beware of snatch thief in Petaling Street

When I upload this post, I ask myself what is going on in my nation nowadays. What happen to our society until we have to care no one in order to avoid become next victim of crime? Is this our culture in society nowadays? It is really sad. I’m sorry to hear what have happened on Carmen's friend.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Petaling Street - Beware of snatch thief

The following snatch thief new was forwarded to me and if you have similar experience, do drop a line.

I was at a souvenir shop at Jalan H.S.Lee, Petaling Street on Tuesday evening 5Oct 2006.

A young Indian lady told me that there's a stain on my pants.(The young Indian is around 20-25 yrs old, long hair, about 160cm tall, her skin is quite fair, she's wearing t-shirt & jeans and she's speaking very fluent English.)

I turned back and checked and found out that there's a red stain looked like paint on my pants. So, this lady helped me to clear the stain from my pants. After that, I continue looking for soft toy in the shop.

Then, the lady asked me whether I want to clean the stain. I rejected her offer and told her that I'm going back home and I can clean it at home. After that, she told me that she was a teacher at a famous tuition center in KL just opposite the shop and she's waiting for her brother.

She wanted to go to toilet to wash her hands (Her hand was dirtied when helping me to wipe away the stain) and she invited me to go to the toilet with her. So, I followed her to the toilet to clean the stain on my pants.

She brought me to the ladies at the 1st floor of the tuition center. I took off my bag and put it on the basin so that I can clean the stain on my pants. While I was cleaning, she took my bag and ran away.

Everything was just happened in 3 minutes. I was so shock when I found out my bag and the lady was gone.

The young Indian lady left her things in the toilet and ran away with my bag. I searched through her belongings and found a lipstick in the envelope she left. Then, I realized that she's the one who put the red lipstick stain on my pants and pretended to help me.

I went to the tuition center together with the police officer for investigation on the next day. I was able to recognize the young Indian lady from the CCTV record. The security head of the tuition center told me that I am the 2nd victim. 5 months ago, the same young Indian lady did the same case using same method at the same place to 1 of the student in the tuition center.

During the investigation, I was told that to print out the young Indian lady's photo from the CCTV costs RM150.

The tuition center wanted me to bear the printing cost because I'm neither a staff nor a student there. I refused to bear the cost because I am the victim. I asked the police officer whether the police force can bear the cost because it's an evidence.

Guess what the police officer told me.

He told me not to put too much hope that they will be able to catch thethief, 70%-80% that they will not be able to catch the thief. Sigh.

With all the evidence provided (the CCTV record, the thief's belongings, and her finger print was printed on the envelope she left), the police officer told me not to put too much hope that they will be able to catch the thief. I was so disappointed.

So, I decided to share my experience to everyone of you. Hopefully you will not be the next victim because the thief is still free out there.

This is her 2nd successful case, so there will be 3rd time and so on until she's caught. The police officer told me that such cases always happen at Bukit Bintang and Low Yat Plaza area.

So, pls be careful when you are at that area and trust no one.

Just ignore and walk away when a stranger tells you that your clothes is dirty. Pls share my experience to your friends and family especially ladies.

Hopefully your friends and family will not be the next victim.

Satay house, curry house, what else?

curry-house

Curry house controversy
As the Klang municipal council prepares to demolish an illegally built satay house owned by a councillor, another restaurant – this time built by a state executive councillor – is in the spotlight for not having a building plan. The restaurant, specialising in banana leaf rice, is owned by State Unity and Plantation Workers Committee chairman Datuk K. Sivalingam. The three-year-old restaurant in contention that was built on land that belongs to Sivalingam, but only transferred to him last month.
DZ Satay House torn down
Klang Municipal Council started tearing down the DZ Satay House on Thursday. It is owned by Zainuri Zakaria, the son of Port Klang assemblyman Zakaria Md Deros.

Satay house was demolished, hey; we have Curry house now. So many “houses” built without approval. Mind you here, they are owned by municipal councillor(s). Meanwhile, there is a municipal councillor’s Palace (17 rooms) still standstill nicely on a 43,000 sq ft land. Demolish? No, no, no, no… He said

Zakaria: I’m still needed
The recent bout of bad publicity will not affect his position as an elected representative, Port Klang assemblyman Datuk Zakaria Md Deros said. He said the large turnout at his Hari Raya open house on Monday night indicated that the people were still happy with him. “I feel that I am still needed. This big turnout shows that,” he said when met at the event at the Kampung Idaman community hall here.

On the other hand, we have a group of people lost their houses (50 houses) at Kampung Berembang in Ampang. How irony is? Not a problem for a man to have a house with 17 rooms on a 43,000 sq ft land; however, 500 people not entitle to have their houses “save” for a moment although it is already a matter in court. Municipal council is over the Court? I’m really confused here, can someone (lawyer, perhaps) kindly please teach me?

refugees
"We're refugees in our own land"
"I don't know what to do after this. I'm living day to day," said Sufa (right). The 56-year-old cleaner was also furious with the authorities over what happened. “We feel like refugees in our own land,” exclaimed one angry villager. Meanwhile, Sufa said her loss was around RM40,000. “Whatever that survived the demolition, such as my TV and fridge were ruined in the heavy rain later.”

Activists arrested in clash over village houses

Nine social activists were detained by the police this morning after a brutal confrontation involving residents of Kampung Berembang in Ampang and enforcement officers from a local authority.
The officers from Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ), together with Rela members and the police, had gone to the village to demolish some 50 houses. The Malay village, with 470 residents is located less than 10km from the Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur.
'Rubbish council' - devotees vent their anger

Devotees have condemned the Seberang Perai Municipal Council (MPSP) as ‘rubbish’ for demolishing the Tou Mu Kung temple in Bukit Mertajam, Penang, last Friday.
The temple, built in 1985, relocated to Jalan Maju last year after its original site some metres away was sold to a property developer.
In Malaysia, a number of temples and shrines are deemed illegal structures due to bureaucratic impediments and hitches in obtaining building permits for them.

Whatever it is, municipal councillor palaces (without approval) still stand as the authorities have not taken any action in Selangor.

We should follow the LAWs, when the building is build without approval, then nothing wrong for authority to take action. However, be fair enough, double apply Double Standard.

Please read this: Malaysia voters, you should read this

We vote for a government to take care of our personal security, not a government which tells us to take care of ourselves.
We vote for a government to enrich our citizens, not a government which enriches its own family members first.
We vote for a government to lead by example, not for a government which practices double standards or has no standards at all.
In short, we vote for a government to serve the people, not for one to be served by the people.

BOLEH action is infantile action?

He had written an article regarding his opinions to Malaysia BOLEH action in the Age on 15 November 2006. Several Malaysian bloggers have posted his article in their blog with open manner. Meanwhile, he also had received many feedbacks from the readers, of course included Malaysian readers too.

He had written another article (Malaysia) in order to response to his previous article (While Malaysia fiddles, its opportunities are running dry by Michael Backman)
The response to my recent column 'While Malaysia fiddles, its opportunities are running dry', published in The Age newspaper on November 15 has been overwhelming. I've received hundreds of e-mails and messages, many from Malaysians both in Malaysia and outside, of which perhaps 95% have been supportive. Thank you for these. It seems that the column has given voice to concerns that many Malaysians have.
Since my column was published, plans for a new RM400 million Istana have been announced and the Agriculture Ministry parliamentary secretary has told Parliament that Malaysia's first astronaut will be playing batu seremban and spinning tops and making teh tarik while in space. There are countless scientists around the world who would give anything for the opportunity to go to space and do real experiments. For the Malaysian government to send an astronaut into space to play Malay children's games serves only to re-emphasise my point about waste. Not only that, it makes Malaysia look infantile in the eyes of the rest of the world, which is a great pity when Malaysia has made so many real achievements. The world is getting more clever, more competitive and more dynamic every day. There are too many in Malaysia who don't seem to understand this.

BOLEH? CAN? or BODOH?

Malaysia's first astronaut to do what no one in space has done before

Malaysia's first astronaut will do what no one in space has done before: play traditional Malay children's games without gravity.

The astronaut - yet to be selected - will play "batu seremban,'' or "five stones'' and spin traditional Malay tops in space, Agriculture Ministry parliamentary secretary Rohani Abdul Karim told parliament on Wednesday.

Rohani, who was replying on behalf of the Science, Technology and Innovations Ministry, said the astronaut would also do batik painting and making teh tarik. She said this in reply to comments made by MPs on what the Malaysian astronaut might do in the International Space Station.

Rohani said the training programme for the Malaysian astronaut in Russia would not cost the Treasury a single sen. Replying to Datuk Dr Marcus Mojigoh (BN-Putatan), she said the programme was provided free of charge as part of an offset programme for the purchase pf Sukhoi fighter aircraft from Russia.

While Malaysia fiddles, its opportunities are running dry

"Malaysia boleh!" is Malaysia's national catch cry. It translates to "Malaysia can!" and Malaysia certainly can. Few countries are as good at wasting money. It is richly endowed with natural resources and the national obsession seems to be to extract these, sell them off and then collectively spray the proceeds up against the wall.

Next year, a Malaysian astronaut will go into space aboard a Russian rocket — the first Malay in space. And the cost? RM95 million ($A34.3 million), to be footed by Malaysian taxpayers. The Science and Technology Minister has said that a moon landing in 2020 is the next target, aboard a US flight. There's no indication of what the Americans will charge for this, assuming there's even a chance that they will consider it. But what is Malaysia getting by using the space programs of others as a taxi service? There are no obvious technical benefits, but no doubt Malaysians will be told once again, that they are "boleh". The trouble is, they're not. It's not their space program.

As I have commented at Soomthriver blog, we spent RM 9,500,000 to do this?

The public transportations problems, public health problems, corruption problems, high crime problems and etc still not yet solve. Voters and tax payers do not deserve that! That is huge amount of money! That money can do a lot thing for all Malaysian.

That HUGE amount of money should spend to solve those BASIC need problems in Malaysia rather than BOLEH action. After we have that BOLEH action, then what? World will respect us? Maybe I'm wrong, please give me your opinions or suggestions or comments.

Foreigner's view on Malaysia BOLEH

I have read an article highlighted in Screenshots. Not only read it, but, I decided to share this article to all.
Next year, a Malaysian astronaut will go into space aboard a Russian rocket — the first Malay in space. And the cost? RM95 million ($A34.3 million), to be footed by Malaysian taxpayers. The trouble is, they're not. It's not their space program.
Back in July, the Government announced that it would spend RM490 million on a sports complex near the London Olympics site so that Malaysian athletes can train there and "get used to cold weather". But the summer Olympics are held in the summer. So what is the complex's real purpose? The dozens of goodwill missions by ministers and bureaucrats to London to check on the centre's construction and then on the athletes while they train might provide a clue.
Bank bale outs, a formula one racing track, an entire new capital city — Petronas has paid for them all. It's been an orgy of nonsense that Malaysia can ill afford. Why? Because Malaysia's oil will run out in about 19 years. As it is, Malaysia will become a net oil importer in 2011 — that's just five years away.

Last paragraph of the article
That's not Malaysia "boleh", that's Malaysia "bodoh" (stupid).

However, just look at "raise the Bumiputra corporate equity from 30% to 60%" or these, would you worry about our nation in future? In my opinion, if Malaysia become a net petrol importer in year 2011, the living cost in Malaysia will increase a lot. Could we look at the big picture in future?

Municipal Council President apology?

UPDATED

Yup, he apology. The latest news reports here, and here. Apologise with honest or not, you read it and you judge it.

I really don't like "misquoted" culture. They are showing bad example that you no need to bare the responsibility for your words, just blame someone when things going wrong! Lead by bad examples? Dare to say but not brave enough to admit it at very fisrt place.

I would like to share Shu's comment here. She had very good points regarding to this incident. Please, read it and think.
At 15/11/06 12:10 AM, Shu said...

It is always good to stand up for one's deed even if it means you 'lose' face or get sacked ! In other words, Honesty is the best Policy.

You may be able to pull wool over people's eyes, but at the end of the day, you will have to live with your own conscience.

Melissa didn't deserve the 'harassment' nor did she deserve the 'disrespect' which was dished out to her after the incident. If only people would take ownership of their own action, this incident wouldn't have dominated the news for the last few days...

If only the situation was handled professionally, without having to find someone, in this case it was the victim who became the scapegoat.

But it also shows a rather scary sign which is that this whole situation got blown out of proportion by the Municipal Council President and if he is the head of the council, his views may be shared by the rest of his peers... these are the people we trust to care for the well being of our fellow Malaysians and if they all embraced the same archaic chauvinistic views like the council President, then we should be very fearful !!!

------------------------------------------------------------

As I have mentioned before in "Qualified as Municipal Council President?", the Penang Municipal Council President Datuk Abu Bakar Hassan will said his statement was misquoted by presses. Here you are,
“I never said the reporter involved was dressed sexily. I was misquoted”

Asked him will apologies to the young lady journalist?
“I do not want to comment further on the case. Give me a few more days. I am waiting for a detailed report on the incident.”

NST01 NST02

Any different between these two news reports? He said he needs few more days at first, and then suddenly 180 degrees turn he apology to that young lady journalist. It just happened in less than a day.

'Sexy comment a misquote'
By Audrey Dermawan and Aaron Ngui
15 November, 2006

GEORGE TOWN: Penang Island Municipal Council president Datuk Abu Bakar Hassan has denied making sexist remarks in connection with the closed-circuit television camera Peeping Tom controversy involving a reporter. He claimed to have been misquoted although all reports on Sunday had virtually the same report on his remarks.

"I merely said that there should be a dress code for reporters covering council meetings.
"I then gave an example of proper dressing; meaning no sexy attire."
"I never said the reporter involved was dressed sexily. I was misquoted," he said yesterday.

He was asked to comment on the controversy after New Straits Times reporter Melissa Darlyne Chow lodged a report that a CCTV camera had zoomed in on her thighs for 15 minutes.

The incident happened during a full council meeting that Chow, 23, covered on Friday.

The following day, Abu Bakar was quoted as saying that the council was considering a dress code to avoid a recurrence of the incident, a statement that implied that Chow was partly to blame for the incident.

Chief Minister Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon later rebuked Abu Bakar, saying the latter’s comments were improper.

Asked if he would apologise to the reporter, Abu Bakar said: "I do not want to comment further on the case. Give me a few more days.

"I am waiting for a detailed report on the incident.’

Abu Bakar said action would be taken against the council worker responsible for the footage.

Meanwhile, state DAP members yesterday called for Abu Bakar’s resignation.

Its action team chief, Tham Weng Fatt, said Abu Bakar’s comments were unacceptable.

He said the council president should apologise to Chow, failing which the DAP would organise a protest on Nov 27 when the state Legislative Assembly convenes.

State Local Government Committee chairman Datuk Dr Teng Hock Nan could not be reached for comment.

In a related development, Northeast district police chief Azam Abdul Hamid said police had obtained an investigation order from the deputy public prosecutor.

The police will record a second statement from the council worker at the centre of the controversy.

He is out of the state and will be returning today.

Sources also said an investigation team had gone to the council meeting room at the Esplanade here on Sunday to gather evidence.

The focus of investigation was on the CCTV camera’s location and to determine the number of council workers in the room on the day.
Penang Island Municipal Council president apologises for sexist remark
By Aaron Ngui
15 November, 2006

Embattled Penang Island Municipal Council president, Datuk Abu Bakar Hassan, has apologised for a sexist remark in connection with the “Peeping Tom” controversy involving a reporter. He said he was sorry his remarks had caused confusion and hurt the feelings of New Straits Times reporter Melissa Darlyne Chow and the public in general.

He accepted responsibility for the incident, adding that the officer responsible for manning the CCTV camera that focussed on Chows’s thighs has been transferred.

"We are following up on the case and further disciplinary action will be taken if he is found guilty," he said in a statement distributed to the Press.

Abu Bakar had earlier officiated the World Toilet Day 2006 at the council auditorium in Komtar.

He was commenting on the controversy that saw Chow lodging a report that a CCTV camera at the full council meeting had zoomed in on her thighs for 15 minutes.

The incident happened when Melissa was covering the council meeting last Friday.

The following day, Abu Bakar was quoted as saying that the council was considering a dress code to avoid a recurrence of the incident, a statement that implied Chow was partly to blame for the incident.

Chief Minister Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon later rebuked Abu Bakar, saying the latter's comments were improper.

Abu Bakar said the whole issue was a misunderstanding and apologised to anyone who had been offended by his remarks.

Asked how the misunderstanding could have arisen considering the fact that reporters had twice confirmed with him on the day he made the remark, Abu Bakar reiterated that he had been misunderstood.

"I did not say the thing happened because Melissa was dressed sexily. I did not say it specifically to her but in general," he added.

Asked if he would personally apologise to Melissa, he said: "Yes, I apologise to Melissa if she misunderstood and also to other parties who are not satisfied with my statement."

Meanwhile, state Local Government Committee chairman Datuk Dr Teng Hock Nan said it was good that Abu Bakar has apologised.

"If there was a mistake, then there should be an apology," he said when contacted.

Meanwhile, the Penang Island Municipal Council audio technician who was on duty at the CCTV control room when the camera was focussed on a reporter's thighs has denied doing it on purpose.

It is learnt that the technician, who is in his 40s, denied any wrongdoing when he was called by police to record his second statement.

Meanwhile, four reporters from three vernacular papers and an English daily had their statements recorded by police today.

Northeast district police chief Assistant Commissioner Azam Abdul Hamid said the reporters' statements were recorded to verify Chow's allegations on the incident.

He said police were still waiting for the CCTV company's technician to return from another state so they can record his second statement.

"The investigations are ongoing and all angles will be covered during our investigation," he said.

Should I doubt his apology? I shouldn't, right?

Reporters, since all of you always be blamed for misquoted someone’s statement I would like to give a suggestion here.

How about upload the recorded interview to internet immediately after the press conference? There are many podcast blogs or providers available nowadays; you can upload it as a record.

If they mention their statement is misquoted, then, give them and public the URL link, ask them go to listen it themselves. Misquoted?

You can't get it in mainstream newspapers, I believe

After searching up side down all mainstream newspapers, I still can not find this kind of news reported. You and I know why also, right? Read the news below and judge it by yourself. I sincerely wish you can subscribe the news packages, please. It doesn’t cost you so much, however, you can know and understand better the scenery at the other angle. Read it and judge it.

Delegate slams 'kurang ajar' BN leaders
Muhammad Razif
Nov 14, 06 7:25pm

An Umno Youth delegate today chided MIC president S Samy Vellu, Gerakan deputy president Dr Koh Tsu Koon and MCA vice-president Ong Tee Kiat for behaving rudely (kurang ajar) towards Umno president Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

Speaking at the Umno Youth annual meet, Selangor delegate Ramli Simbok said several Barisan Nasional (BN) component leaders have been emboldened by the rift among the Malays to the point of challenging the premier.

“When there is a crisis in Umno’s top leadership, certain quarters will take advantage and it is sad to see when friends try to take a shot at our president. Umno Youth would like to remind these people not to forget themselves.

“Ong Tee Kiat must not forget that he is indebted to the Malays. He won in the by-election (in Ampang during the early 90s) because of the support of Umno. We sacrificed an Umno seat for him

“If they want to reprimand (the premier), do it in the right way, don’t use the media and expose everything. The media too have their limit ... their limit is racial sensitivity,” he added.

Ramli said Umno Youth will defend the party president if there are quarters who want to challenge or threaten him.

Malay rights

He also said it was not wrong for Umno leaders to champion the rights of the Malays when these are threatened or challenged by other races.

“If we keep nodding our heads ... what will happen to the Malay race?” he stressed, expressing full support for Umno Youth deputy chief Khairy Jamaluddin’s assertion in September that the Chinese will take advantage if the Malays are weak.

Khairy’s statement was met with strong criticisms from the Chinese community, including BN component parties such as MCA and Gerakan.

Meanwhile, Ramli said Umno leaders should put an end to any crisis at the top level because this will affect the party and BN during the general election.

“Look at the 1999 general election, in many places, BN candidates won with a slim majority. We must learn from this experience,” he added.

Khairy: Penang CM gets 'clear mesagge'
Bede Hong and Andrew Ong
Nov 14, 06 8:13pm

Umno Youth deputy chief Khairy Jamaluddin said a "clear message" was delivered to Penang Chief Minister Dr Koh Tsu Koon during the wing’s annual meet in Kuala Lumpur today.

He was responding to the remarks made earlier by Umno Balik Pulau Youth chief Shahaedan Ayoob Hussein at the Umno Youth general assembly regarding the problems faced by the Malays in the Gerakan-controlled state.

“I am confident what Shahaedan said is important in showing Tsu Koon the plight of the Malays in Penang. The message is clear enough.

"If it is not clear, I don’t how it can be better delivered,” Khairy told a press conference at the end of the youth wing's debate this evening.

The son-in-law of Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi also said that Barisan Nasional component parties should accept criticisms by Umno Youth in an open manner.

“The criticisms were made sincerely so that the Malays (in the state) can see further development and the disparity between the races be reduced,” he added.

Khairy said these were not his or Umno Youth chief Hishammuddin Hussein’s views but that of the grassroots. “We have to accept the reality,” he stressed.

He also said if Umno Youth continue to be criticised after having made this explanation, it would only show that "certain quarters have sinister intentions".

No apologies

Asked why the Umno Youth leadership did not stop the grassroots from raising such racial issues, Khairy replied:

“The grassroots have their own views. We cannot stifle them from raising what they feel is important. It is better for them to voice their views than seek other solutions that may not be desirable.”

When asked, Khairy declined to say if he agreed or disagreed with the grassroots.

"We need to see their point of view. We must understand that they are unhappy. I don’t think they are being racist,” he added.

Khairy said Umno will continue to fight for the interest of the Malays and will not apologise for being a race-based party.

“They (MCA and MIC) will also not apologise when they fight for the agenda of their race,” added the 31-year-old Oxford graduate who recently came under fire for saying that the Chinese would take advantage if the Malays are weak.

Slanted media reports

Earlier, Shahaedan told delegates that slanted media reports made Penang Umno Youth looked like it was stoking racial sentiments against the state’s non-Malay chief minister.

He was referring to the incident which saw a number of banners denouncing Koh at an official function two months ago for supposedly neglecting the welfare of the Malays in the state.

“We never discussed making the banners. But the banners were made by Malay youths who were under pressure,” said Shahaedan.

He said the youths were voicing the concerns of the Malays as well as other ethnic groups over their inability to afford decent housing.

“But the cynical media... portrayed the movement as being racist. What happened with The Star (newspaper) was that it portrayed the Youth movement as biadap (uncouth) in putting up the banners,” he added.

Shahaedan said this paved the way for MCA and Gerakan as well as the opposition DAP to attack Penang Umno Youth.

Extremist friends

The Penang delegate also criticised the Barisan Nasional component parties for publicly questioning the government’s leadership.

“They do not educate their friends. They just make demands or objections and follow the wishes of their extremist friends,” he said.

He described the decision by the non-Muslim ministers to submit a memorandum on religious issues as "insulting".

BN component parties used their NGOs to further raise such issues, he said, citing the "uncouth and vocal" Penang Chinese Chamber of Commerce (PCCC).

PCCC had asked for a review of a 30-percent bumiputera requirement in foreign business in the island, adding that it was discouraging foreign direct investments.

According to Shahaedan, PCCC supplied goods and services to the thousands of factories located in the Penang free-trade zone.

"This is a billion-ringgit industry which the Malays cannot penetrate," he said.

“There are more than 1,200 factories, but we cannot even be cleaners or cleaning contractors. Why? Because PCCC’s towkays control it (the industry) tightly,” he added.

Malaysian voters, you should read this

I would like to share an article written by a reader of Malaysiakini. He/she has very good points regarding the roles as a voter. Please, read it and think about it.
Malaysian voters should know
The Voters
Nov 10, 06 4:46pm

I think it is timely for us, as citizens of Malaysia, and as voters of Malaysia, to state our stand clearly, and to be more responsible in the direction and operation of our country.

Barisan Nasional, led by Umno, has been running this country for 50 years. And if we blame BN for any problem or questionable policy, ie, the NEP, Official Secrets Act, ISA, the deteriorating social order, the raising of petrol prices, hike in cost of living, corruption etc, we are not just stupid ourselves, but we are in fact pushing our responsibility away from us as we have contributed directly or indirectly to above examples.

BN did not come to power from a coup d’etat, not even once. All the general elections were won legally. All our prime ministers came to power legally, and all of them left the office legally. We did not have to push any of our prime ministers out of office. Our police and army are loyal to the government, no matter who is the prime minister. Look at Thailand, and you all know what I mean.

So, again, who is to blame for all the above questionable policies and problems? It’s you, me, us - the voters. The BN government did not stop any Malaysian whether Chinese, Indian, Malay, Kadazan, Dusuns, etc, from becoming voters after they reached 21 years of age. As such, if the government we voted in is corrupt, inefficient, or lousy, who is to blame?

Nothing is ever perfect in this world. But by working together and exercising our voting rights, we can all make a difference. Although each one of us only has one vote, the energy in all the votes added up becomes a nuclear force. All votes count. And all of us are responsible for voting in a new government every five years. If you do not like this government, we can vote together to get a new government.

If you do not like BN, you could vote for other parties. But, please remember, after we vote in the next government in 2008/2009, we must observe their performance for five years and judge whether they should be returned in 2013/2014.

Be responsible and think carefully before you cast your next vote. Each one of us can easily influence five to 10 voters so collaboratively, you can make or break a government.

In a modern and democratic society, the voters are more educated and we should first understand the functions of a government. We vote for a government to lessen our daily burdens, not a government which puts more burdens on our shoulders. We vote for a government to give us an easy life, not for a government which creates bureaucratic rules to make our life miserable.

After several issues happened in Malaysia, should we consider seriously who should we vote as our next government? Review the related articles below, consider twice what kind of government you wish to have for you and yours kid in future.

Qualified as Municipal Council President?

Yesterday, a news report said there were many red faces at the Penang Municipal Council meeting on Friday (10.11.2006). Why? I think you know why also, if you not, here is the review:
Newsmen covering the full council meeting at City Hall were shocked to find the closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera zooming onto the thighs of the women journalist instead of the council proceedings.
Well, the lady journalist of New Straits Times had lodged a police report after that.

Now, read what the Penang Municipal Council president Datuk Abu Bakar Hassan’s response,
If the dress was not sexy, the incident would not have happened.
“或许衣着不性感,就不会引起偷拍的风波!”

What!? No matter he is JOKING or not, he should not response like this. The young lady journalist is a victim in this case, why she becomes the one to be blamed? I strongly believe that if there is a choice, those journalists will prefer to wear Jean and Shirt to carry out their duties. Those kinds of clothes are much convenient for their outdoor jobs.

UPDATED Just look the picture below, the young lady journalist showed what she had worn on that day. Is that consider SEXY or too HOT to you?

journalist
source:Sin Chew Daily

This is an insultation to women. If he is in the country which practice gender equality; he needs to apology in public no matter he is joking or not.

What’s wrong with a skirt? Can someone draw a UNIVERSAL standard for SEXY clothes? I don’t think that journalist was worn a MINI SKIRT to attend Penang Municipal Council meeting. However, victim sounds like the one should be blamed in this case, it is sad.

He said Penang Municipal Council may apply suits guidelines for those attend the council meeting especially for female in future. Are Malaysians really not CIVILIZED enough to wear their own suits? A mature adult still needs a guideline for his/her suits? Does it means we, Malaysian are not CIVILIZED enough? I’m confused.

What kind of quality of our Municipal councils in whole Malaysia? Who put them in the position? Do Malaysian, voters and tax payers deserve this?

Let’s bet tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, you may read the Penang Municipal Council president says the presses are misquoting his statement on that incident.

NO matter he is joking or not, the lady journalist does not deserve that.

Qualified as municipal councillor?

camera cracked lens
What kind of quality(ies) you wish for yours municipal councillor? I believe you know the answer(s) too, right? Today, I read again this news through newspapers online. Mind you again, I read through ONLINE, that means the world is reading this news too. It is again related to so-called “developed” Selangor state’s Klang municipal councillor in Malaysia. A municipal councillor can acts like this? Shout abuses, verbal abuse, grabbed people’s property?

Two reporters and a photographer from Guang Ming have reported to police that Klang Municipal councillor Datuk Mazlynoor Abdul Latiff hurled verbal abuse and lunged at the photographer in a 12.30pm incident at the construction site of his bungalow in Kampung Raja Uda here yesterday.
Kindly please read the entire news here, would you wish or want your municipal councillors are like that? I agree they are human being, they have emotion. However, when you are in position, would you be more self discipline? Would you lead by example?

As a voter and tax payer, would you agree that?

Our Prime Minister said this on 09 November 2006
"Nobody is above the law. That should be remembered," Abdullah told reporters.

Yet, he repeated again on 10 November 2006
"I told the Inspector-General of Police, he will have to investigate thoroughly and properly according to due process. Nobody is above the law," he said.

“Action will be taken against whoever is found guilty. This will be decided by the courts and the legal system,” he told reporters yesterday.

He said NOBODY is above the law when asked to comment about Mongolian model, Altantuya Shaariibuu shot and blown to bits.

Does our Prime Minister means this also to the Klang Municipal councillors? We have our pressmen reported the 5 million Ringgit Malaysia “Zakaria palace” at first, later many similar cases were reported in newspapers. Well, after all?

May him well

Mahathir suffers heart attack
Former premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad has been admitted to the National Heart Institute (IJN) early this morning after suffering a mild heart attack. His son Mukhriz told malaysiakini that his father was rushed to the IJN at 3.30am this morning. “He is stable now. Doctors have admitted him for a week for observation,” he said. According to a statement by IJN, Mahathir was admitted into the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) for observation. “Mahathir is advised to rest and thus, will only receive visits from immediate family members,” the institute said.

Do you agree with Singapore’s move on HAZE problem?

hazzy days
source:theStar

Singapore raises the haze issue at the United Nations General Assembly last month. However, Indonesia does not happy about Singapore’s move.

When Indonesia burns their forest, Malaysians have to “breath” the hazzy air. This problem already appears for more than a decade. However, does Indonesia really take it seriously to solve the problem? How about our government react to this problem?

Let’s us have some review here

You burn I tarik kuat kuat
Natural Resources and Environment Minister Datuk Seri Azmi Khalid said that Malaysia and Indonesia are friendly neighbour. Malaysia will not bring the haze matter to the International Tribunal. He said Malaysia and Indonesia will continue to hold TALKS and discussions aimed at smoke and haze.

He also said that what can we get when bring Indonesia to the International Tribunal and he mentioned that protest was useless also.

Well, as our Prime Minister, Abdullah Ahmad Badawi told us "When something like this happens, we have to ask for God's help,".
Cabinet Malaysia, what say you?
"If you can guarantee the wind will not blow (in this direction), then I can guarantee it (haze) will not happen again."
"When we export oxygen, you don’t say anything; when we export haze, you complain."
"We have forests producing oxygen and bringing clean air to them but they don't thank us. Now there's smoke and they complain. There must be a balance."

Do you agree with Singapore’s move in order to solve the problem effectively?

Read what Dr.M said in his interview with International Herald Tribune. It still related to current leadership. Read the full article and also the QandA section too. Then, you compare what he said and what our Prime Minister said.

The Transparency International Corruption Perceptions Index 2006

CPI
CPIworldmap
source:Transparency International

The Transparency International Corruption Perceptions Index 2006 was released. Malaysia drops further in world corruption index; however, our neighbour country is ranking 5 in the world. What the de facto law minister Nazri Aziz will say this time? Last time he said Singapore is too small to acknowledge as a country in ASEAN if I not mistaken. Now, how about this?

He said “The Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA) has no powers to initiative investigations on reports and charges of money politics and bribery within Umno,” on 1st November 2006. Today, he said in house that “Umno members are immune to graft laws because the party’s standards are higher than those stipulated in the Anti-Corruption Act 1997.” I'm totally confused. How about the 5 million Zakaria Palace?

Well, let’s the Transparency International Corruption Perceptions Index 2006 tell you how the world looks at Malaysia anti-corruption activities. The fact tells the truth, no need flowering words.

You can download the reports in pdf format at here. The world map can be downloaded at here too.

Selangor is DEVELOPed state or DEVELOPing state?

From the news I read today, I doubt am I remembering something wrong? Years ago, I believe he was the one who ANNOUNCED, ANNOUNCED and ANNOUNCED Selangor was the FIRST DEVELOPED state in Malaysia even Malaysia is a developing country. Not a joke, a state better than a nation.

Today, he said “Selangor is developing and there are many complaints on infrastructure, such as on potholes, clogged drains and non functioning streetlights.” Is that a joke? What kind of joke he tries to tell us here?"

At the end of that news report, I read this.
“Why are you asking about action? It is too early to talk about this. Nak buat kacau buat apa? (why stir things up?)”

In Malaysia, we (tax payers and voters) can’t ask or question the government?
What kind of rights we have as voter?
How far Malaysians understand about what democracy is?

Dr.M criticise the PM, latest open letter

open-letter-01 open-letter-02
In less than 2 weeks, Dr.M had wrote second open letter and published through Internet. (Read the first open letter, here)
Dr. Mahathir was due to speak at a function organised by an non-governmental organisation in Baling, Kedah, on Friday.

"The police has called the organisers and ordered them to cancel the meeting," lamented Mahathir. He said that to date 14 invitations for him to speak from various organisations had been cancelled "by Pak Lah's government through Deputy Internal Security Minister Johari Baharom".

"Pak Lah and his family are afraid to allow me to speak because what I have to say is the truth. "If what I had to say was not true, then it would have been easy for them to disprove me," wrote Mahathir in his latest open letter carried by the Internet.

You read it and you judge it.

Who is above the laws in Malaysia?

UPDATED
Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Khir Toyosaid: Let’s be realistic – there are a lot of buildings in Selangor built without proper local council approval.

“I have been told I must be fair; to act without fear or favour. If so, then these properties and building extensions are also subject to demolition,” Dr Khir told reporters yesterday. “Such properties include temples and even the headquarters of political parties. If I go strictly by the book instead of taking into account public interest and racial harmony, imagine the outcry if I were to execute the demolition orders.”

However, he said, enforcement action had been selective because the state wanted to be a friendly government, and not execute drastic measures that might cause hardship for the rakyat.**

for RAKYAT? for PEOPLE?
Such GOOD move? I'm so touch.......until speechless. Read article below too, will you cry?

-------------------------------------------------

We have this at first......
The Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA) has no powers to initiative investigations on reports and charges of money politics and bribery within Umno, said the de-facto law minister Nazri Aziz today. Nazri, who is also an Umno Supreme Council member, said offending party members are only answerable to the party’s disciplinary board.
“Umno members only have to answer to the disciplinary committee and are punished according to party regulations for party dealings. They have immunity to laws outside the jurisdiction of the party,” he said.
“This is because their actions in the party have nothing to do with the public business and does not involve their (public) interests, in my opinion,” he said in the interview conducted in his office.
Nazri also said that the definition of bribery will be different in the context of party matters as opposed to the current laws of the country.
Then, later we heard from......
The UMNO supreme council has also barred embattled Umno leader Zakaria Md Deros from the upcoming swearing-in ceremony of the Klang Municipal Council, where he held the post as a councillor.
"It is necessary that Zakaria withdraws himself from the list of members that will be sworn in on Nov 8," Datuk Seri Abdullah Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said.
Abdullah said that Zakaria, who is also Selangor state assembly representative, would not be reappointed as councillor.
Zakaria, a party strongman in Selangor's Klang, has been accused of building of a 17-room mansion without proper approval from the municipal council of which he was a member.

However, no further action will be taken against Zakaria.
Look at this news report......
To a question whether Dr Mahathir would be immune from party action, Abdullah said “for the time being” there would be no action taken against him.
“Nobody is immune. It is a matter for us to decide if there’s going to be action or not,” he said.

See…as long as you are the member of “you-know-what-party-is”, you will “safe” no matter how.

The money and power was abused but no LAWS can take them down.

Malaysians are very, very, very, very RICH.

We work day and night (2 jobs per person, direct sale etc),
pay several taxes (road tax, entertainment tax , service tax, income tax and etc);
pay high highway tolls (but still have traffic jam for an hour or two);
pay high water rate tariffs (but yellowish fresh water);
pay high electric rate tariffs(cut off without notice);
pay high petrol charge per litre (we have petroleum);
pay high rate charge for internet connection (but slow connection);
pay high price for goods(because of high water and electric rate tariffs);
suffer for high inflation (government disagree with)?
……………………..
……………………..
……………………..
Please fill up the list.

Today is my birthday but I don't feel happy. I really want to cry, my family members suffer this at all times and also other Malaysians too.

Democracy? People rules? Constitution? Laws? Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA)?

Can someone kindly please teaches them what online bussiness is?

I want buy a gift and deliver it as a surprise to my girlfriend in Malaysia. This shop (All99.com) seems is the only one offers purchase online for that gift in Malaysia (what I can get from Google search results for the time being). On its website, it is mentioned that “bank transfer” is one of the payment methods they accepted. Well, sounds great since I have an account in Maybank.

bank-transfer
After registered my details and placed an order, I paid through the Maybank online service. I have problem now. The fund transaction was rejected by Maybank. I repeat that fund transfer procedures several times and I still got my transaction rejected. I called (long-distance call) Maybank customer care centre to figure out what was the problem.

Later, I called to that shop (long-distance call) and talk to the person in-charge about my situation. Before this, I have sent the shop an email. Since I was on the phone I told her what I heard from Maybank customer care centre and gave some suggestion about their website because it was not user friendly.

She gave me a dozen of reasons and explanation why that matter happened. She told me the Maybank always change the policies for the fund transfer and the website can’t be modified to user friendly because of security matter blah, blah and blah. But, without any sorry to inconveniences caused on me.

Why tell me Maybank changes the policies, it was not my concern. If Maybank service is really lousy, then, kindly please remove that option as payment method. When you mentioned it on website, you can’t expect customer double check with Maybank beforehand? I’m abroad; long-distance call to Malaysia sounds a bit luxury.

payment-option
If the shop can’t thankful to any suggestion kindly please remove this page on its website. I gave suggestion personally on the phone; however, not thankful response but 101 reasons given.

suggestion

After talked to her on the phone, I was a bit disappointed to that shop and start to think twice want to continue my order or not. When I read her replied e-mail, I’m very sure this online shop is not my choice anymore.
Dear Kean Jin

I do not understand what the problem is.. yes they do not allow you to pay
using the maybank2u.com from personal to corporate.. many of our customers will go to their atm machine and transfer the funds to us which is also a form of bank transfer.. just that it can not be done online..**

if you want to use bank transfer.. use another bank liks HSBC etc.. they
apparently allow it..

if you want you can make the purchase with your VISA or MASTERCARD..

if none of the above appeals to you.. we can not help you..

regards

Good afternoon

I have placed an order for one ABCDEF, below is my order detail

Your Order No: BA02-20001867
Amount Purchased: MYR ****

I have Maybank account in Malaysia, therefore, I wish to pay through Maybank2u online to yours Maybank account.

Bank Name: Maybank
Account Name: All Ninety Nine Sdn Bhd
Account Number: 512316104589

However, my transaction was rejected several times by Maybank system. As you aware that I'm abroad now I have to make a call to Maybank to figure out what is the problem.

According to Maybank, your company does not register as their PE. Maybank told me that, your company is not register in their Open Bill Payment under the Open Payment option. And, according to Maybank your information on yours web page is wrong. Funds Transfer – 3rd Party Account is only for private account and Sole Proprietor only. Since your company is registered as Sdn Bhd, therefore I can't transfer any funds from that "funds transfer" option to you.

Any ideas? This is the first time I order goods from your company but I end
with payment problem. Please advice.

Best regards,
Kean Jin

Maybe my transaction is too small to them, take it or leave it doesn’t affect to them.

** Tell me; is this the right attitude to do online business?
Sounds like I need to fly back to Malaysia and go to Maybank ATM machine transfer the money to their account. Or, you should have account at several banks in Malaysia in order to transfer money to them. Sounds like they are doing an Emperor Style business; you, customer must follow our way to pay not according to yours convenient. Yes, your highness.

They are entitled to get Oscar Academy Awards

Malaysia politician are good actors I have ever seen before in my life on this planet. Unfortunately, the Oscar Academy Award committee does not pay attention to them, what a shame. If not, we already have many Oscar Academy Awards in Malaysia. Only this year, we already seen one “great” movie broadcasted by a great son-in-law. Now, we have another one “great” movie broadcasted yesterday.
“However, it was never my intention to boast or show off by building a bigger house which has been called 'Istana Datuk Zakaria' by some,” he read from a 12-page statement at his current double-storey low-cost house in Kampung Idaman here.
He added that the family had also planned to create community-centred rooms in the new house, including having a tuition centre, a surau and an activity corner.
“If our sincere intention had been misinterpreted, we apologise for not having properly explained our little contribution,” Zakaria, flanked by sons Zainuri and Zul Hisham, read from his prepared statement.
Zakaria said he met Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi on Oct 29 at 10.15am at TUDM Subang just before Abdullah left for China.
“The Prime Minister advised me to be patient and find a way to deal with the problems,” he said. * (source:theStar)
He said among the reasons for building his so-called ‘Istana Zakaria’ was his large family comprising 11 children and another 11 grandchildren.
“Furthermore, it will be easier for my constituents to meet me here just as they have done in my 40 years as a politician. My wife then suggested we look for a piece of vacant land in this village to build our house for the whole family,” he said.
“However, I have met the Sultan of Selangor and listened to him for more than an hour on Oct 28.
“I have explained the situation to him and he asked me to be careful in the future.”
The politician also said that he met Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi on Sunday just before the premier left for China to attend the China-Asean meeting.
“The prime minister told me to be patient and find a solution to this problem, especially in countering the negative press.” * (source:Malaysiakini)

Can we (tax payers) know HOW and WHERE he gets that huge amount of money to build that so-called two-and-a-half-storey house (Zakaria’s definition)?
Can we (voters) know what right to allow him and his family to stay in a 5 million Malaysia Ringgit (1.37 million USD or 1.08 millions EURO) house?
Can we (tax payers and voters) demand for big houses for our big family member? A lot of us have many family members and we sincerely wish to stay together too.
I believe you agree nothing wrong for him to build a house (with approval) for his BIG family. However, I believe you also agree build a 5 million Malaysia Ringgit two-and-a-half-storey house (Zakaria’s definition) is too much!

When abuses of power happen, they always make it become racist. When these people will be matured enough to handle nationwide problems?

Friend of mine expressed his worries about current situation in Malaysia. He gave a very good analogy ~ the late Dynasty MING in China during those old days. There are many TV series use this time lines as their movie stories. Malaysia TV station had broadcasted several of them before.

* If this is what our Prime Minister said to him, what will be the next?
