Can someone kindly please teaches them what online bussiness is?
|
I want buy a gift and deliver it as a surprise to my girlfriend in Malaysia. This shop (All99.com) seems is the only one offers purchase online for that gift in Malaysia (what I can get from Google search results for the time being). On its website, it is mentioned that “bank transfer” is one of the payment methods they accepted. Well, sounds great since I have an account in Maybank.

After registered my details and placed an order, I paid through the Maybank online service. I have problem now. The fund transaction was rejected by Maybank. I repeat that fund transfer procedures several times and I still got my transaction rejected. I called (long-distance call) Maybank customer care centre to figure out what was the problem.
Later, I called to that shop (long-distance call) and talk to the person in-charge about my situation. Before this, I have sent the shop an email. Since I was on the phone I told her what I heard from Maybank customer care centre and gave some suggestion about their website because it was not user friendly.
She gave me a dozen of reasons and explanation why that matter happened. She told me the Maybank always change the policies for the fund transfer and the website can’t be modified to user friendly because of security matter blah, blah and blah. But, without any sorry to inconveniences caused on me.
Why tell me Maybank changes the policies, it was not my concern. If Maybank service is really lousy, then, kindly please remove that option as payment method. When you mentioned it on website, you can’t expect customer double check with Maybank beforehand? I’m abroad; long-distance call to Malaysia sounds a bit luxury.

If the shop can’t thankful to any suggestion kindly please remove this page on its website. I gave suggestion personally on the phone; however, not thankful response but 101 reasons given.

After talked to her on the phone, I was a bit disappointed to that shop and start to think twice want to continue my order or not. When I read her replied e-mail, I’m very sure this online shop is not my choice anymore.
Maybe my transaction is too small to them, take it or leave it doesn’t affect to them.
** Tell me; is this the right attitude to do online business?
Sounds like I need to fly back to Malaysia and go to Maybank ATM machine transfer the money to their account. Or, you should have account at several banks in Malaysia in order to transfer money to them. Sounds like they are doing an Emperor Style business; you, customer must follow our way to pay not according to yours convenient. Yes, your highness.

Dear Kean Jin
I do not understand what the problem is.. yes they do not allow you to pay
using the maybank2u.com from personal to corporate.. many of our customers will go to their atm machine and transfer the funds to us which is also a form of bank transfer.. just that it can not be done online..
if you want to use bank transfer.. use another bank liks HSBC etc.. they
apparently allow it..
if you want you can make the purchase with your VISA or MASTERCARD..
if none of the above appeals to you.. we can not help you..
regards
pearly

Good afternoon
I have placed an order for one ABCDEF, below is my order detail
Your Order No: BA02-20001867
Amount Purchased: MYR ****
I have Maybank account in Malaysia, therefore, I wish to pay through Maybank2u online to yours Maybank account.
Bank Name: Maybank
Account Name: All Ninety Nine Sdn Bhd
Account Number: 512316104589
However, my transaction was rejected several times by Maybank system. As you aware that I'm abroad now I have to make a call to Maybank to figure out what is the problem.
According to Maybank, your company does not register as their PE. Maybank told me that, your company is not register in their Open Bill Payment under the Open Payment option. And, according to Maybank your information on yours web page is wrong. Funds Transfer – 3rd Party Account is only for private account and Sole Proprietor only. Since your company is registered as Sdn Bhd, therefore I can't transfer any funds from that "funds transfer" option to you.
Any ideas? This is the first time I order goods from your company but I end
with payment problem. Please advice.
Best regards,
Kean Jin
Maybe my transaction is too small to them, take it or leave it doesn’t affect to them.
